I despise people who sing with a microphone.
When you perform a song I want
to hear the bassline -
the minute inter-pitches that present themselves
when you’re slightly off key. And I want to hear
you tap your feet or
snap your fingers
and say words that come from
your stomach not from your throat.
Tell the fucking truth.
And try do not use the thesaurus GODDAMMIT.
